I first started creating proxy Pokémon cards for my autistic son. He loved playing the Pokémon TCG Pocket app — the artwork, the shine, the excitement of collecting — but more than anything, he wanted to hold his favorite cards and put them in his binder. Since physical versions of those cards didn’t exist, I began crafting custom ones just for him.

What started as a way to bring joy to my son quickly became something more. Friends asked for copies. Other parents reached out. Collectors took notice. And before I knew it, Bill’s Secret Garden was blooming into a full-grown business.
